For a 4 star hotel everything was excellent, I thoroughly enjoyed to be here. The room was reasonably spacious and airy, had a trouser press, a lounge, and a kettle. And it had a lovely view over the sea. All the services were excellent. There were free internet and convenient parking available. The venue was set in a central area close enough to the pier and shops, and the beach and shops and the fair auction. And it was at a walking distance from Southend Pier.
